We are actively searching for a Logistics Operations Manager as we manage and expand our U.S. business. Our North America corporate operations are based in Columbus, Ohio. This role reports to our VP of US Retail Sales and works closely with our Retail and Broker teams to ensure orders and shipments are handled properly. Responsibilities: Order Management: Manage EDI and email order recording in NetSuite (ERP), processing & fulfillment in 3PL warehouses, shipping to customers, receiving, and discrepancy handling. Transportation Management: Manage all aspects of product shipping to distributors and retailers, and between warehouses in the US, including cost and billing management. 3PL & Inventory Management: Work with 3PL service providers that store finished goods and handle retail orders. Manage inventory levels, identify and correct issues, improve processes, and manage cost and billing. Invoicing & payment, reconciliation: Work with Else’s finance department to facilitate and ensure proper invoicing and collection. Manage the invoice reconciliation process. Free-Of-Charge goods warehouse management: Manage Else’ own small FOC warehouse, including shipping, inventory management, etc. Customer Service: Provide stellar customer service to our distributors and retailers (both online and offline) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, maintain relationships and communication. Data Analysis: Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements. Help to secure additional data as needed (e.g. from customers, distributors). Manufacturing Support: Provide ad-hoc support to our manufacturing and R&D teams and partners.


Requirements:

College degree in a relevant area (preference for logistics, operations, supply chain, etc.) 3+ years in a logistics operations role in an FMCG / CPG retail or distribution organization Experience in and/or the right attitude to work in a start-up environment (curious, hard-working, can wear many hats, bounces back from mistakes, etc.) Strong verbal and written communication Analytical with ability to pull out insights from disparate data sources Passionate about nutrition Able to meet tight deadlines and multi-task well Outgoing, positive, friendly, and collaborative personality Expert in Microsoft Office and Outlook programs Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle/NetSuite an advantage) Experience with inventory and logistics operations
